Mount Vernon Water Well Services

Licensed Well Care in the Kokosing River Valley

In our experience, few things test a well like a stretch of heavy rain, and Mount Vernon's river-valley setting sees plenty of it. From the Kokosing River to the rolling country around Gambier and Fredericktown, private wells keep homes running year-round, and Jackson Well Services has been the team this community trusts to keep those systems functional since 1978.

We drill new wells, install and repair pumps, restore aging wells, fix pressure problems, and provide water treatment solutions. Our crew is fully licensed, insured, registered, bonded, and certified, with warranties, financing options, same-day appointments, and 24/7 emergency services.

Protecting Your Water from Storms

When heavy rain, snowmelt, and high-water conditions send runoff toward wells, we’ve seen how a damaged casing or a loose cap provides surface water an easier path in. If you notice cloudy water, strange odors, or a sudden change in taste after a storm, it deserves attention from our team.

After a storm, call Jackson Well Services for:

• Casing and cap condition checks. We look for cracks, loose caps, and damage that can let surface water in.
• Video camera inspection. When needed, we look inside the well for casing concerns.
• Bacteria testing. We test your water so you know whether it's safe to drink.
• Equipment review. We check the pump, pressure tank, and electrical components for storm or flood damage.

Once we find the source of an issue, we walk you through your options, review pricing before work begins, and inspect again afterward. Solutions may include repairs, well restoration, a water softener, or added treatment through Waterbird Home Solutions. Warranties back our work, and our 24-hour emergency service is available if a storm knocks your system out.
